✈️ India Launches FTI-TTP for Faster Immigration – Trusted Travellers, Seamless Travel
India’s Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP) is set to revolutionise international travel by offering expedited immigration clearance for pre-verified travellers.
Inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the programme is now expanding from Delhi to seven major airports, aiming to make India’s immigration experience world-class and future-ready.

- Launched: June 22, 2024, at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi

As of January 16, 2025, FTI-TTP is operational at:

- Kolkata

🧬 Biometric Enrollment & Validity
- Biometric data collected at:
- Airport registration desks
- Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs)
- Includes:
- Facial image
- Fingerprints
- Validity: Up to 5 years or until passport expiry, whichever is earlier

While full eligibility criteria are pending release, applicants must typically be:
- Indian citizens or long-term residents
- Passport holders with a clean immigration record
- Willing to undergo background and biometric verification
