  • Launch: Union Ministry of Agriculture initiated the Bio-Input Resource Centres (BRCs) programme on April 23, 2025 under the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF).
  • Mission Goal: Promote chemical-free natural farming using localised bio-inputs like Jeevamrit and Beejamrit.
  • Scale: ₹2481 crore budget; plan to establish 10,000 BRCs nationwide.
  • BRC Role: Serve as cluster-level micro-enterprises producing, supplying, and educating farmers about bio-inputs.
  • Financial Support: ₹1 lakh per BRC (in 2 instalments), though experts call for higher support.
